In a nutshell, Every account holder is required to have a Bank Verification Number linked to all their bank accounts.
During the Bank Verification Number enrollment process, you are requested to take a Biometric data capture which entails taking your personal information, your fingerprint photograph and other details related to your personal identity, the data is then archived with the Central Bank of Nigeria.
