- 1 Teaspoon Vitamin E oil.
Step 1: Get a clean sauce pan or pot.
Step 2: Cut your beeswax into small pieces or chunks. (To enable it melt or dissolve faster)
Step 3: Pour your beeswax into the sauce pan or pot.
Step 4: Place the sauce pan or pot containing the beeswax on a very low heat. Either on a gas cooker or a stove. Just ensure the heat is low and not too much.
After some seconds you’ll definitely see the beeswax melting into liquid form. Keep stiring while the melting process is going on, to enable every particles of the beeswax to dissolve properly.
Step 5: After the beeswax must have completely melted. Bring it down from the heater.
Step 6: Then add the sheabutter or cocoa butter, and keep stiring, the wax will still be hot, so they butter will definitely melt immediately.
Step 7: After the butter must have melted in the hot Wax. Then wait alittle, about a minute, to allow the beeswax cool down alittle.
Then add your lactic acid, beetroot juice and vitamin E oil, while you keep stiring thoroughly. Ensure to you stir the mixure thoroughly for proper blending.
Then allow the mixure to cool down alittle more before pouring it into a clean container, so it won’t melt the container.
While the mixture is in the container allow it to completely cool down and solidify.
Note: Don’t allow the wax to cool down completely before adding the last three ingredients, hense it will solidify, and when this happens you won’t be able to add the ingredients again, unless you heat the wax again. Just allow the wax to cool down alittle bit before adding the last three ingredients.
The reason why you should allow the wax to cool alittle before adding the last three ingredients (beetroot juice, lactic acid, vitamin E oil) is to avoid rendering the ingredients ineffective as adding them into a very hot Wax may destroy the nutrients.
