Godwin Emefiele who is the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria has collaborated with other members of the Bankers’ Committee to sign an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the FG.
The reason why the Bankers Committee and the Federal government signed the Memorandum of Understanding is for the National Arts Theater, Iganmu, Lagos handover.

According to the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, the renewing of the National Arts Theatre will go a long way in helping the Nigerian youth unlock their creativity and talent in the area of Music, Technology, movie production, and Fashion.
The Signature Cluster’ is a prototype cluster named for the project, and the Bankers’ Committee has mentioned that they will provide the funding needed for the prototype cluster which also includes funding for building each music, film, fashion, and technology verticals.
According to the report, the prototype cluster for which the Bankers’ Committee will be funding will also include the welcome/visitor’s center, a station for the Nigerian Police Force, and the fire stations, with a parking space that can contain up to 500 vehicles.
Godwin Emefiele also appreciated the president for approving the handover of the National Arts Theatre and also appreciated him for always trying to provide the Nigerian youth a platform to showcase their talent

The Bankers’ Committee has signed an MOU with the Federal Government over the handing over of the National Arts Theatre.
It was approved and Godwin Emefiele appreciated Mr president for his approval.
The National Arts Theatre will now be handle, controlled, and managed by the CBN for a few years before handing it over to the FG.
