Eve was born on November 10, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. She was born into a working-class family as her father was a supervisor at a publishing company, while her mother was a chemical plant supervisor.

Eve had her early life in West Philadelphia where she had also started her high school education at the Martin Luther King High School. Although her family later moved to Germantown when she was at the age of 13.

At a very young age of 18, Eve went astray and due to lack of money, she decided to go into stripping. This, she did for years until she finally met the popular rapper, Mase who helped her bring out the potentials she’s got.
