Application

An impartial panel of artists, presenters, and arts administrators from the United States and our network nations, including persons who have worked in the eligible regions, reviews applications.

Every year, the panel’s makeup varies.

After the application deadline, the selection panel meets 8-10 weeks later. One month before the meeting, written materials are distributed to the panelists.

During the two-day meeting, all work samples are examined. The review criteria in the guidelines are used to evaluate applications.
